These examples were worn from the reign of George III until the replacement of the Company by the Crown after the huge disruption caused by the mutiny of 1857. The majority of those shown here were worn by British officers in the HEIC armies of the three Presidencies of Bengal, Madras, and Bombay. These buttons are in my private collection and not for sale. However examples of some come up for sale on the website from time to time.
