Cameo brooch portrait of a youth, early late 18th/early 19th century

The oval shell cameo, 30 x 23mm. depicts a well carved bust length portrait of a youth in Renaissance style clothing and with long hair. The yellow metal mount has two very worn and unclear punch marks which suggest this was a Grand Tour souvenir mounted in southern Europe. I hesitate to date the cameo itself any earlier than 18th century but others may well know better. The dress is certainly earlier. jul1/1
