79th ( Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders ) Regt of Foot. A studio portrait with an arched top, mounted on an old brown paper album leaf showing the officer three quarter length seated at a table. The Scottish officer wears a double breasted frock coat and glengarry. A well toned image in good condition with some fading towards the edges, 8 x 6 ins [16 x 20cm] with arched top. The Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders was the 79th Regiment of Foot until 1881. jul9/4
