Carved wooden stand for picture, music, or book, probably north Indian, 19th century

The florally carved wooden stand measures 18 x 10 ins overall and has a hinged back strut for support. Traces of an old label on the reverse has a border design similar to ones found on furniture carved in the Punjab.
