DATIA. A signed and dated photographic print of the Maharaja, 1931

Datia. A good printed photograph, 10 x 7¾ ins. [29 x 19 cm] of H. H. Sir Govind Singh, K.C.S.I., Maharaja of Datia [1886-1951 tipped to old card prepared for framing. It is signed Govind Singh and dated 7-10-31. His HIghness ruled the Central Indian 15 gun state from 1907. The KCSI, the neck badge of which he wears on a cord rather than the blue and white ribbon which he would have received with it, was awarded on 1st January 1918 for the services he and his state made to the Crown during WWI.   apr29/3
