Early 19th century lady’s calling card case in scarlet morocco leather.

The small calling card case measures 4¾ x 2 ins and is stamped in gilt MRS EDGE on the top end. There are four small pin holes in that end. The case belonged to the wife of Thomas Webb Edge of Strelley Hall, near Nottingham.   jun26/3
