A pair of very solid English silver asparagus tongs or servers with a shell design to the handle and finely pierced blades. The very early Victorian tongs are hallmarked London 1841 with maker’s mark WE. The overall length is 10½ ins and the weight is 226 gms [approximately 8 ounces].
