The 7½ x 6 ins photograph is framed in contemporary 1926 frame and titled on the backing card Prince Henry & Howard saying goodbye to the Prince of Wales going tp South Africa 1925. Henry, we know from the provenance, is Lt. Col Sir Henry Kerr [1895-1977], a Hussar. The Prince of Wales in question was later King Edward VIII and Duke of Windsor. mar 27/1
