H.R.H. Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester in a group photograph, circa 1930s

The 7¼ x 5½ ins group photograph is close framed with the framer’s label on the back – G. A. Rose, 23 Pelham Street, S. Kensington Station, S.W. The Duke of Gloucester is the central officer standing and all three wear service dress uniform with riding breeches and the date is probably the late 1930s. We have not researched all the sitters but the central lady may well be H.R.H. Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester.   mar29/5
