The vellum scroll grants arms to Geoffrey Isidore Charles Marchand of “Orleans ” in the parish of New Barnet and is dated 1931. The scroll retains the large red wax seals in brass lapet tins of Gerald W. Wollaston, Garter King of Arms and Arthur Cochrane, Clarenceaux King of Arms. The whole is contained in the orginal red leather box, 23½ x 6 x3 ins. dec10/1
The recipient is recorded as holding an MA from Cambridge and being lately a Captain in the Royal Artillery.
