Imperial Yeomanry trooper, horsed. A good cabinet card of around 1900

A good gilt edged grey cabinet card with no photographer’s credit showing an Imperial Yeomanry trooper on his horse. I cannot make out the badge on his hat. Cavalry images do not often include the horse. This card came from a collection put together in Fife, Scotland and almost certainly dates from just before the man went off to the South African War when the government allowed Yeomanry units to send a small number of volunteers who had to provide their own horse and tack. jul18/6 SOLD 22nd February 2026
