Indian champion regimental sports team with trophies, 1924

The 11 x 8 inch team portrait is titled CHAMPIONSHIP, CORPS SPORTS No 9 Fd. Coy. Q.V.O.M.S.&M. 1924. The two Indian N.C.O.s wear service dress and the British officer wears civilian clothes with a regimental tie. There are a few small marks to the image and the old photographer’s card does not show a credit. The team represented Queen Victoria’s Own Madras Sappers and Miners. apr22/1
