Jasper ware teapot, 19th century, probably Satffordshire

£30.00

The charming little teapot, approximately 4 ins. tall over the knop and 4 ins. wide not including handle and spout, has a brown body with very delicate white floral decoration. As so often there is some damage, mainly to the lid which has been cracked and glued. The body is good apart from the missing tip of one of the tall fesrns. I am always plased to find jasper ware not in typical Wedgwood blue. An image of the bases shows some scratch marks and numbers which may helpomeome more expert in these wares to establish the factory. We will not be prepared to ship this outside the United Kingdom. feb9/1
