An unusual and atmospheric Edwardian real photograph postcard showing Lord Minto, Viceroy of India, going to church in May 1910. It is used and post marked SIMLA 19 MY 10 . Only the Viceroy and the Commander in Chief were permitted to use carriages on the Mall. Minto was to be succeeded by Lord Hardinge in November of 1910. aug4/7
