Miniature pair of medals, Queen’s South Africa and Army LSGC George V


A good original pair of contemporary medals comprising Queen’s South Africa, 2nd type with 4 clasps Cape Colony, Transvaal, Wittebergen, South Africa 1901Army Long Service & Good Conduct, George V, 1st type awarded between 1911 & 1920. The well produced pair, with swivelling suspension, are brooch mounted as worn with original ribbon. The clasps are correctly rivetted. The presence of the LSGC suggests the wearer was a regular soldier who left the service before WWI.    jun25/1
