MINTO. An unu sual little greetings card signed by both Lord & Lady Minto, 1907

A small gold printed folding Christmas card for 1907 sent by the Viceroy, the Earl of Minto & Lady Minto. The card, measuring 4½ x 3½ ins when folded, has Indian scenes with the printer noted on the back Marion & Co. London. It opens to reveal a tipped in partl;y coloured and printer credited Nicholas & Co. Madras . The other side has a printed greeting and is signed Mary Minto  Minto 1907. Lord Minto was Viceroy & Governor General from 1905 tco 1910.   nov20/3
