A very good silver plated livery button with a baron’s coronet above a script letter N . The 25mm button has the backmark H & T TOWELL. 10 ARGLL PLACE. LONDON W. The button is in very good condition retaining the full silver plated finish. The N of the button could represent a number of creations, some of the older ones being Northwick. Napier, Nairne, Newborough, Norwood, Norbury, & Nugent, or it could represent the initial of a family name of a baron.  nov13/3
