Royal Artillery. Two portraits of the same Artillery lieutenant taken in Sowerby Bridge, Yorkshire.

Royal Artillery. The two full length portraits show the same Lieutenant of Artillery in mounted service dress uniform with rank badges on the cuffs. He wears two medal ribbons. The first I think is the India General Service 1895-1902 but I am baffled by the seeond. The left hand portrait measures 6 x 4 ins and is mounted on a photographer’s card of Hirst &Co. Sowerby Bridge. The right hand portrait is printed directly on to the card  9½ x 7¼ ins.  aug28/1
