Original blue cloth gilt with upper bord gilt blocked with title beneath royal arms, minor wear to extremities, internally very clean with no previous ownership marks. After the Indian Mutiny the former 1st Bombay European Fusiliers was absorbed into the British line as the 103rd Foot, becoming the 2nd Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers in 1881 before being finally disbanded with the other Irish regiments in 1922.
