Royal Engineers & Military Train, a large Victorian lithographic print

A large coloured lithograph by George H Thomas, 23¼ x 17½ ins, titled ROYAL ENGINEERS & MILITARY TRAIN and showing a Sapper, Corporal, and Sergeant of the R.E. in the foreground with a mounted sergeant of the Military Train. The latter was a fairly short lived unit which became the Amy Service Corps in 1870. The print has some old staining and a small tear at the foot without loss. It has recently been removed from a damaged old frame. mar29/3
