Royal Irish Yacht Club, blackened brass, QVC, 24mm


Royal Irish Yacht Club, a very good example of a blackened brass button with the backmark FIRMIN & SONS LONDON. The button has the standard design of Victorian crown above a fouled anchor with the initials R.I.Y.C. in gothic letters below. The club was founded in Dun Laoghaire harbour, County Dublin in Ireland in 1831.  apr7/4
