The amusing full pl½ate photograph, 11½ x 8½ ins, shows the group of five officers wearing tail coats, gorgets, and wigs outside an Indian verandah. Four are identified on the old album card as Col Abercrombie, Major Rose Keppel, Capt Burgoyne, Capt Douglas SmithThe reverse odf the card has a few small family portraits and two groups at Peshawar taken in 1898 & 1900.     oct14/2
