Sam Browne’s Cavalry (12th Frontier Force) shoulder titles.

This pair of very simple 12C shoulder titles came to us with other items from the descendant of an officer serving in the regiment in the 1920s & 30s together with other items, including a hall marked silver cap badge [since sold]. The pattern of the shoulder title continued through several variations in the regiment’s title. These examples are much heavier and more solidly constructed that the example shown earlier in apr29/1. One of our images shows the three titles for comaparative purposes.  They also have a different lug form for fixing, perhaps to the chain epaulette worn by cavalry.   apr29/2
