A carte de visite by Oglesby, Photographer to the Queen, Preston with a bust length portrait of the Duke of Argyll wearing a glengarry with the clan badge of a boar’s head, circa 1870s. Ge succeeded to the dukedom in 1871 and was Colonel of the 5th HLI and the London Scottish, serving from 1878 to 1883 as Governor of Canada.   jul26/4
