Witwatersrand Rifles, South African 23mm black composition button
£20.00
The well made black composition button of the Witwatersrand Rifles is 23mm in diameter and has no backmark. The design comprises of crossed rifles behind a strung bugle and the initials W R all beneath an imperial crown. Almost certainly Edwardian. sep1/1
I listed this button wrongly a few days ago as a West Riding button but a more widely knowledgable friend has corrected me.
