This is the late Victorian pattern of the 21st from when it was designated The 21st Lancers (Empress of India’s) in 1897 until the Victorian crown changed on the accession King Edward VII. It is a little rubbed on the high points of the design. This is the largest size worn on the plastron fronted dress tunic and the backmark is JENNENS & Co LONDON. jul30/4
