22nd Frontier Force Sam Browne’s Cavalry. Post 1903 Torin cap

£180.00

The officer’s dark blue Torin cap with gold trim has the embroidered gold and blue badge on red background introduced when the regiment adopted the name 22nd Sam Browne’s Cavalry (Frontier Force) during WW1 when it served in Mesopotamia. In 1922 the name changed again to 12th Cavalry (Frontier Force). There is some moth damage to the left side but the worst area is largely under the fold of that side, although there is also some damage to the blue ground behind the number 22.  oct14/3
