An officer’s 18mm button the 36th (Herefordshire ) Regt. of Foot of the pattern worn from 1855 to 1881 when it became the 2nd Bn. The Worcestershire Regiment. This example has the backmark JENNENS & Co. LONDON. There is a little rubbing on the high points of the crown and the original gilt finish now has a rather coppery look. The shank is a little bent. jul13/1
