46th (South Devonshire) Regt. of Foot. Officer’s gilt 25mm 1855-1881

An exccllant example of the officer’s 25mm gilt tunic button of the 46th (South Devonshire) Regiment of Foot with the backmark JENNENS & Co LONDON. This is the pattern worn for 1855 until 1881 when the 46th became the 2nd Bn.
