4th West York Militia officer’s silver plated 25mm button

A 25mm silver plated, officer’s tunic button of the 4th West York Militia with design of the title 4TH WEST YORK beneath the rose and crown, It has the backmark HOBSON & SONS WOODMILL ST. LONDON. There is a little bleeding of underlying copper to the centre of the rose. Another button from my old private collection put together in the 1970s so the button has very dark toning as I do not clean buttons.  sep1/1
