An excellent example of the officer’s gilt 20 mm button worn on the coatee before 1855 by the 83rd Foot County Dublin Regiment. It has the backmark JENNENS & Co. LONDON and retains the original full gilt finish. After 1881 it became the 1st Bn. Royal Ulster Rifles. may31/5
