A fine gilt officer’s button of the 94th Regt. of Foot with Victorian crown, 25mm, with the backmark JENNENS & Co. LONDON. This the pattern used from 1855 until1881 when the regiment became the 2nd Bn. The Connaught Rangers. In 1922 the unit was disbanded along with other Irish regiments following independence. The button retains full original gilt finish. may19/2
