Folding plan [with inner edge tear and a few other minor edge tears without loss], [i preface], 23pp. Later smart blue cloth gilt with first owner’s initials in gilt to corner of upper board beneath the title, a very clean copy. Owner’s inscription in ink to ffep Arthur L. B. Anderson, Rebound 2nd July , 1921 and a further inscription in pencil to top of title page This pamphlet was bought in Delhi by me during the Delhi Durbar in 1911. A.L.B.A. The book was compiled at the suggestion of Lord Roberts, Commander in Chief India, who himself won a V.C. during the Indian Mutiny. Composed mainly of extracts from other published works and designed for the use of tourists this ephemeral, Indian printed work is now qjuite scarce.  Ladendoef 570.   jan26/2
