A good 11 x 6¾ ins photograph is pasted to a page from an old album that belonged to Lieut Stanley Percy Ashby Rolls who was Adjutant of the Dorsetshire Regiment in 1912 and had served with it in India 1905/6. The large group portrait shows officers largely in service dress and wearing headdress. Twenty or more are identified on the the mount. The reverse has a collage of dance cards, regimental cress, &c illustrating Rolls’s livdely social life. jun9/2
