A good, unused postcard showing Their Majesties seated in front of temporary welcoming arch bearing quite a resemblance to the present day Gateway to India in Mumbai. This was the first and only visit to India by a ruling King Emperor and the couple were of course on their way to Delhi for the great Coronation Durbar in December 1911. aug13/2
