US Army Engineers collar badge, c 1910-1924, 27mm

Th circular copper coloured badge is 27mm in diameter, a little larger than a £1 coin and around the size of a standard large size military button. It fastens to the unifrom collar by a pin with brass screw on disc to hold it in place. I am told by an American friend that this stylised castle represents Pershing Barracks. may29/1
