CENTRAL ASIA. Sheet 21. second edition. War Office 1931. [1st edition was 1921]. The large, 27½ x 39 ins, map was produced during the Soviet period by the General Staff of the War Office on a scale of 1/4,000,000 or 1/4M and is in excellent condition with just a very small tear without loss and small folded area top left. It folds down to 10 x 7 ins and It extends from parts of the Urals and Siberia in the north, showing most of modern Kazakstan, to parts of northen Kirgizistan with parts of western Sinkiang.
