A brass 18mm button of the Central India Horse of the pattern worn from 1910 to 1922. The button has the backmark C. PITT & Co. LONDON and the design of the monogram CIH over crossed lances beneath an imperial crown. This regiment was the premier regiment of Central India some of whose officers often held important extra-regimental posts, such as the command of the Imperial Cadet Corps. may20/2
