It stands on a torse and is to be seen in some amrs of the Irish Dukes of Leinster [one shown from our 1809 book of arms. The motto above the quadruped is CROM A BOO – an ancient war cxry of the Fitzgerald family [the duke’s family name]. The button has the backmark PITT & Co. 31 MADDOX ST. LONDON W. jun26/3
