£300.00

The 25 x 16 in. aquatint is in the inner gilt slip from a 19th century frame and retains a. stout backing card. The subject, after Wales, is Doomar Leyna, Cave 29 at Ellora, one of the largest rock cut temples of the 6th century and dedicated to Shiva. One of our illustrations shows an example of the original type of frame which once held this aquatint [this one is not for sale]. nov26/1 RESERVED 29th November 2025
