Edwardian dress uniform tunic of a Colonel on the Staff.
The scarlet tunic lacks its epaulettes and the upper part of the lining is lacking. On the plus side the outwardly visible parts of the uniform are un excellent condition. It retains all 20 large sized gilt buttons by JENNENS & Co LONDON. The detail image of the left shoulder shows the small brass button used for fixing the aiguillette. How that is worn is shown in the plate illustrated from Dress Regulations for the Officers of the Army 1900. jul14/4
