This volume is chiefly narrative accounts of the area with some tables in the appendix. Some 15 pages cover the detailed activities during the Mutiny in this district near Benares and it has a column and a half in the index in volume 6 of Kaye & Malleson: The Indian Mutiny, 1899 Longmans edition.
