A metal document case, 23½ x 13½ x 6 ins, painted to look like wood and painted in white on the lid SECRETARY ROYAL COMMISSION ON AGRICULTURE. There is a fitted interior and the case retains some labels two of which are from P & O steamers, one labelled S.S. RAJPUTANA and MARQUESS OF LINLITHGOW . nov17/1 RESERVED 18th November 2025

Provenance: Bought at the Christie’ sale at Hopeton House, Edinburgh in 1993.
