Mhow, Central India. A British cavalry regiment riding at Mhow, numbered in the negative 1085 and attributed on the old card to which the 10½ x 7 ins image is tipped, to Raja Lala Deen Dayal and dated to 1887. We are not sure of the regiment but the 6th & 7th Dragoon Guards were stationed at Mhow in the Bombay Presidency at the time. jul2/2
