Raja Lala Deen Dayal. The binding of late Victorian that held photographs of Central India

The upper black leather album board is titled in gold  VIEWS OF CENTRAL INDIA. BY LALA DEEN DIYAL INDORE within a decorative border, the rear board simply with the border, 15 x 11 ins. There is minor damage at the corners and the part of the spine is missing but the boards could easily be used to house a collection. aug21/1   SOLD 25th August 2025

An album of photographs of the area by Deen Dayal that belonged to Sir Lepel Griffin sold in Christie’s Visions of India sale in 1998 for a hammer price of £28,000 [lot 241].
