A small 4½ x 3½ ins Christmas card sent in 1924 by an officer of the Garhwal Rifles stationed in Rangoon. The interior has a tipped in real photograph titled Aerial photograph of Rangoon Cantonments and Shwe Dagon Pagoda and the card has the regimental badge embossed in green. The sender was Peter Hailey, whose father Sir Malcolm was a high Indian political officer in the Punjab. sep7/1
