Royal Artillery, officer’s 18mm gilt by a Woolwich maker

The late Victorian  officer’s gilt 18mm button has the backmark COOK & PALMER, WOOLWICH. There is a little rubbing on the high points of the design but the button retains much of the original gilt finish. I like the fact that this button originates from the Artillery’s Headquarters.   mar24/1
