Royal Artillery, officer’s bronzed cap badge with moving wheel, king’s crown

A good example of a Royal Artillery cap badge with bronzed finish. The king’s crown badge is of the type with a moving wheel. It is perfectly original with a curvature to it, probably suggesting it was worn with a WWI period officer’s cap. The orb on top of the crown is bent backwards, possibly to help grip the cap. Moviing wheels are much less common than the fixed variety. jul9/2
