An attractive example of the officer’s 20mm gilt coatee button worn before 1855. This example, with the backmark P. & S. FIRMIN 153 STRAND, retains most of the original gilt finish and has the design of three cannon with motto and Victorian crown with a scalloped border. jul18/6
