An excellent example of a a Royal coachman’s button, of officer’s quality and construction, 26mm gilt with backmark FIRMIN & SONS LD. LONDON. The attractive button retains full gilt and has the King’s Tudor crown above the Royal arms against a mantling reminiscent of those at the sides of the coachmen’s seat. It retains most of the original gilt finish. jul13/1
